How did you get into IT, and how long have you been with Labyrinth Technology?
I first became interested in working in IT when I was at 6th Form College. I was studying for CCNA and CompTIA A+ and started to take an interest in networking and computers. It snowballed from there. I joined Labyrinth Technology in July 2016 and beforehand was working as an IT Technician for a school.
What is it that you do in your job?
My day-to-day job involves working on support tickets that have come into the helpdesk, and being a senior engineer, acting as an escalation point for my colleagues. I now also act as a Technical Account Manager for certain clients and can manage projects that are assigned to me.
What do you like to do out of work?
I enjoy playing video games, and like watching football, supporting Liverpool. I also play card games competitively, and travel around the UK and Europe to participate in tournaments.
What is your favourite film, and why?
The Usual Suspects, because it keeps you guessing all the way through, and the final reveal is a brilliant bit of storytelling. It has great “shock” factor and I didn’t see it coming!
Where do you like to go on holiday?
Turkey, because it is my “go-to” beach and sunshine destination, and Holland because I have long-standing and good friends out there who I always want to meet up with whenever possible
